I am a freelance photographer based in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands.
Growing up in the small secluded Faroe Islands, I became fascinated by the things I saw on TV. While flipping though the channels, I saw a world that was so different from the one I was living in. As I started to travel more and more, I realized that the world is nothing like what I expected, and the people are just as normal outside of my country and they are at home: just a different kind of normal. This idea of realness was what sparked my interest in photography, the idea that by simply taking a picture I could invite someone, anyone, to see my view of normal.
